This week Donny, Antoine, Nagi, and Jeff are joined by special guest host Dr. Avery Kenly and they break down how emotions affect male teachers. Things get started with the return of the game “5-second rule” as the fellas kick off the show with the warm-up. Next the class announcements pay tribute to the woman behind the creation of WiFi and Bluetooth, Ms. Heddy Lamar. The fellas then put their hearts on their sleeves and let their emotions out as they discuss emotional intelligence and how emotions play a large role in teaching. In the teacher’s lounge the fellas confess to the weirdest thing they have ever done to help out a coworker. After that they jump into the data dig and talk about the numbers that point to the importance of emotional vulnerability. The show wraps up with another powerful SEL moment reminding us all about strength in weakness and then the ticket out the door with someone new stepping up to the mic this week!
